Yachting
Ampair was borne from the original Ampair 50, one of the world's first wind power generators for the yachting community. Since the early 1970's when this product was first released, Ampair has released larger 100 Watt, then 300 Watt, then 600 Watt turbines built to the same exacting marine specification. To complement the fleet we produce the Aquair, towed (or taffrail) generator which gives the vital power needed by the serious cruising sailor. Our regulators are also renowned for their durability and input configuration flexibility – why have an extra regulator for your solar panels?

Hydro
Ampair's UW100 'picohydro' turbine can be submerged to 10 meters and is used around the world to power ocean or river based scientific equipment. The UW 100 features low water speed cut-in and a high charge rate without sacrificing space for weight. The body is filled with food-grade oil to eliminate corrosion and to equalise temperature-induced pressure changes. Whether powering a tidal navigation buoy or forest log-cabin the UW 100 will reliably do the job.
